As I sit here writing this on March 1, 2020, we are in the midst of a global pandemic.
If you read this book shortly after I published it, you will know that the pandemic is coronavirus. If you found this file in a file somewhere a few years later, you may have more knowledge than I do at the time of writing, or you may have forgotten about it altogether.
For the sake of humanity, we hope for the latter.
Since we are in the grip of this pandemic, I feel it is my responsibility not to talk about it.
In the past 1-2 weeks, the coronavirus has had a widespread impact. While the direct impact of the virus itself remains small (as of 01/03/2020), the indirect impact is large. There is a lot of noise in the media about statistics that show the risks, the actions we should take and the daily toll. Some I agree with, some I disagree with.
An interesting fact I recently discussed with Simone Puorto of Travel Singularity is this:
By February 2020, you are 2,000 times more likely to die from a lightning strike than a coronavirus.
Make up your mind about how you feel.
I'm not talking about any of these direct effects here, but you know what?Of course, my focus is on the indirect impact, involving my favorite themes of hotel technology and tourism technology.
Receiving the news of the shows has been cancelled keep me thinking, We hotel furniture manufacturer should work hard to beat the cornavious, keep offering the best hotel furniture for the buyers all over the world, not only hotel owners, but hotel builder, contractor etc. Let's pray for better us, better future.
