Since the coronavirus outbreak in China, many foreign friends have come to ask me about the situation in China. They all want to know some real situation from me not report.
I am an ordinary Chinese and far away from Wuhan. What I see and hear may not be so comprehensive. But I am pleasure to share some of the real details.
1) At the time of the outbreak in Wuhan, doctors and nurses from various provinces eagerly signed up to support Wuhan. Several of my doctor and nurse friends couldn't make it, because there were too many people applying.
2) During the epidemic, materials donated to Wuhan by various provinces were received by the Red Cross and then dispatched to hospitals and communities in a unified manner. However, due to the slow dispatch, each hospital and community can’t get the materilas in time. These things were scolded on social media. The day after the incident was revealed, the government let a third-party professional company take over the Red Cross warehouse, so that supplies could be delivered to hospitals and communities in a timely manner.very efficient.
3) In the epidemic, many infected people are elderly people, the maximum age is over 90 years old, many of them have other diseases, and live in ICU. Maybe many people think that these people are not pity even if they die. After all, they are so old, and the country does not need to spend so much medical resource on them. But I was particularly impressed by a doctor. He said that for irrelevant people, he is just a dying old man, but for his family, he is a grandpa or grandma, and behind him is a group of people, so we cannot give up any hope.
