Casegoods is big part in hotel furniture.so as a hospitality furniture manufacturer ,a strict and complete quality control stand is very important during our production .We can say that quality control is an important part of the hospitality furniture manufacturing process,from design to implementation.
What is Quality Control for our Hospitality Furniture -casegoods ? Let me introduce our quality control standard from below four elements.
A-Specification & deminsion
Need use the final approved shop drawing.Normally there are some small modification during the craft,so for each shop drawing,we must require to mark date in case mixed up.We have two kinds of shop drawings,one for customer,including finish color pic and brand No,real production photo,construction details.
Color if match the approved stain sample ;Overall color must match the approved stain sample.
Metal design need follow the requirement ,structure must stable ,color must match the approved stain sample .Metal thickness must enough 1.5MM;
Drawer & door panel ,wood veneer grain must keep the same ,can replace with each other ;
if have any damage ,overpainting ,bubble ,mispainting or other beauty defects ;
Wood veneer can't show color different ,drawer box and the cabinet body color must match ;
Safety test ,product if have any sharp edge ,closed angel ,scrape hand ( product stability ,compression capactity ,Anti-dumping ability,surge withstand capability);
Combination products color need match ;
The inside and outside of the product should be clean without dust, wood chip, paint pollution and so on.
B- Function and structure
Test assemble before package ;
Test the structure ,must confirm the structure stable before package ,if need add nail or glue or wood block J-rail to strength the structure ;
Drawer glide testing ,must smoothy .open or close the door panel need smoothy and no noise ,same product metal color need same ,drawer glide and hinge must follow approved shop drawing ;
K/D product must test install ,and provide assembly instruction .test basic function ,structure if reasonable ,confirm all size correct ;
Produt with refidgerator and microwave need desinger provide correct recess size ,we must confirm they can put into the product ,need cut out the vent hole follow the shop drawing ;
Top panel must flush ,can not curve or inset ;
Combined cabinet ,fixed with bolts ,must check the hole place use model ,ensure the glue dry during installation ;
Product with led ligting ,must test before package ;
Inspecr quartz top and glass top ,must use model to check the clearance ;
Product with groove ,the shadow line painted correctly;
C- Appearance checking
Drawer glide testing ,must smoothy .open or close the door panel need smoothy and no noise ,same product metal color need same ,drawer glide and hinge must follow approved shop drawing ;
K/D product must test install ,and provide assembly instruction .test basic function ,structure if reasonable ,confirm all size correct ;
Solid wood all kinds of bad points, check whether the material is correctdemand no wormholes, decadent, dead section, mark, kerf, burrs, deformation, etc all kinds of bad points, check whether the material is correct ;
Product with solidwood edge ,solid wood can not have scab . can not use the wood veneer darker than approved stain sample .
D-Packing
Carton materils must follow our requirement ( small product 160-200LBS,casegoods over 200LBS);
Carton front & side shipping mark must correct ,totally as per customer requirement,but also add some necessary safe signals on it.
If the bootom of product is flush ,and not heavy ,not need use protection frame ,but must add hard corner protection . if the product is too heavy ,flush bottom need use protection frame . if bottom is open ,bottom need finsh to prevent mildew;
While packing the withe products ,workers need with white gloves ,and clean up the working table ,prevent from polluting ;
Clean the products before package ,make sure the hardware and assemble instruction correct.Additionally we will supply extra 2% hardware in case some missing when installing.
quartz top and glass need packed spreately ,and packed in wood box ,can not install with the base , except the special requiremwnt . but must make sure it is safe enough .
