Located just 15 kilometres from Rabat’s town centre, the new 120-room hotel will be part of the exclusive Arzana development, a community of luxury residences nestled within lush green gardens overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
“We are delighted to have signed an agreement to bring the luxury Conrad brand to this incredible new development on Morocco’s Atlantic coast,” said Carios Khneisser, vice president of development, Middle East and Africa at Hilton Worldwide. “In recent years we have seen significant opportunity to grow our portfolio in Morocco, where we have three hotels in operation and four hotels under construction.”
Nis-Arne Schroeder global brand head, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, added: “I am delighted that we will be establishing a presence in Rabat with our first Conrad property in Morocco. Arzana is the ideal setting in which to debut the brand in this region.”
From its elevated waterfront spot, with views of a tranquil lagoon and beach, the new property will have two all-day dining restaurants alongside its lobby and pool bars, a fully appointed spa and salon, a grand ballroom and four meetings rooms – its event space offering alone will span more than 600 sq m in total.
