Furniture Retailers Take Steps To Address COVID-19 Outbreak

HIGH POINT – Following recent governmental requests for social distancing to help stem the spread of COVID-19, home furnishings retailers across the U.S. are addressing the issue with more rigorous cleaning protocols and even short-term closings.

Several retailers have announced they are closing stores for a temporary period: Anthropologie (closed until March 28), Havertys (closing March 19-April 2), Interior Define (all its Guideshops are open by appointment only), Jordan’s Furniture (closing March 18-30) and Williams-Sonoma (including Pottery Barn and West Elm stores), which is closing all locations through the beginning of April.
