Four New Hotels Are Added, Marriott Expands Its Thailand Hotel Investment Territory

A few days ago, Marriott Hotel Group announced that it has signed a milestone agreement with Asset World Corp Plc (hereinafter referred to as AWC) to add four landmark buildings under three world-class brands in Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand. It is reported that this multi-property agreement involves the Ritz-Carlton Hotel to be opened, the first Marquis JW Marriott Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand and two Autograph Collection hotels, both of which made their debut in the country.


At present, Marriott International's business in Thailand includes 45 hotels and resorts currently in operation, including 9 hotels and resorts under the AWC group, which is the partner of this cooperation.

01The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok


The hotel is located in the Bangkok Nature Reserve that has just opened, and the goal is to open in 2027. As the hotel is close to the Chao Phraya River, considering the city’s refuge, the hotel has 124 well-designed rooms that will showcase the rich history and culture of Bangkok’s 19th century maritime trade.


02 JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok Asia Marquis


The hotel is located on the riverside of Bangkok in Asia. The hotel is positioned to provide a paradise for the Thai capital on the Chao Phraya River. It is expected to open in 2027. The hotel has more than 1,000 rooms, practical meeting spaces and JW spa, which will cater to the delicate and delicate For travelers, provide guests with a luxurious haven.


03 Bangkok, Autograph Collection Hotel


Bangkok, Autograph Collection Hotel will be the first Autograph Collection hotel in Thailand, and it is expected to open in 2024. Autograph Collection is a collection of independent hotels selected by Marriott from all over the world. They are passionate about creativity and pay attention to details. This hotel has 200 rooms and will display refurbished furniture products, emphasizing on imitating the unique atmosphere of the 19th century Thai-Chinese trade, presenting a retro style.


04 Pattaya, Autograph Collection Hotel


The Autograph Collection Hotel Pattaya will integrate the local charm of the Thai fishing village, steamboat dock and underwater world into the popular resort Aquatique seaside Pattaya, with the goal of opening in 2024. After opening, the 306-room hotel will be side by side with Pattaya Marriott Marquis Hotel and Pattaya Beach JW Marriott Resort and Spa. Currently, these two hotels are still under development.
